Flex Boots are durable and comfortable, easy to put on and take off. They are carefully designed with the horse's wellbeing as the top priority. Flex Boots are the first barefoot shoes for horses, like Feelmax and Vibram shoes for people.
Flex Boots fit a variety of different hoof shapes provided the hoof is maintained in its anatomically correct shape. This generally means small maintenance trims at 1-2 week intervals. We recommend that the owner should learn how to maintain the feet in between professional visits. By doing so, we ensure that the horse moves comfortably at all times with correct and functional hooves, and we can enjoy these barefoot shoes of the horse world for as long as possible. If the horse’s upper body is out of balance, they may for example drag their toes.
We recommend in the interest of the horse’s health, they are taught to carry themselves and their rider correctly; using the deep postural muscles for stability, lifting the back and withers, and tilting the pelvis in the right direction to allow the proper use of the hind legs. They should reach under, flex their joints and carry weight, instead of being dragged along behind or to the side of the body. By doing all this we minimize incorrect movement which in the long run is harmful both to the horse and the boots.

Note that the Flex Boot Horse 120 size comes with the option to choose either SMALL or MEDIUM back strap and gaiter. This is because this size fits large ponies and small horses, whose leg thickness can vary depending on breed and conformationi. Please select the size that fits your horse best.
A snug fit and anatomically correct trim are essential to a correctly functioning Flex Boot.
Flex Boots are suitable for horses with:
- Longer than wide hooves
- Round hooves
- Slightly wider than long hooves (hooves cannot be more than 10mm wider than long)
Flex Boots are not suitable for horses with excessive flared hoof walls.
(Please note that the use of any hoof boot over metal shoes will invalidate the warranty.)

All orders are shipped within 48 business hours from our home base in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Boots are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Orders for accessories (gaiters, straps, rivets, etc.) are shipped USPS First Class Pkg Service. Orders containing backordered items will not ship until all items are available unless the customer requests available items to ship ahead.
Shipping costs are calculated according to order value:

The original shipping charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges on returned items unless the return is due to an error on our part, such as a disparity between items shipped and items shown on your order.
You may return your Flex Boots for a refund or exchange them for a different size provided they are in like new condition. For return for reimbursement, boots must be returned clean, dry and free of all debris, manure and dirt.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days from the date we receive the boots and we have confirmed them to be in like new state. Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.
The original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges on returned items unless the return is due to an error on our part such as a disparity between items shipped and items shown on your order, or a manufacturing defect.
